I'm in a new house with no landscaping and am anxious to get started. I have a brick home which is shaded in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. I would like slow growing shrubs, but don't know what will work. I live in central N.C. and would appreciate any help

I suggest you edit your "topic" as it is your garden name; you will get more attention with something like "slow growing shrubs?" or ?? What USDA hardiness zone are you in?
