Need Some Feedback

Milltown, NJ

I would like to place a few shrubs, maybe some pots, a bird feeder, etc. in the area where my neighbor's fence abuts my property. The fence is about 48 inches tall and extends about 25 feet. I would like some ideas as to what I can put in front of the fence to minimize it. The
area gets about 4-6 hours of sun per day, as my neighbors pin oak provides some shade. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

PS : Are there any shrubs which could be planted in decorative containers against the fence ? If so, I am welcome to suggestions? Thank you.

roses. rugosas, or any old garden type rose on their own roots. the alba class is nice. 4-10 ft high some of them get. Not fussy like tea roses are! You don't spray
rugosas or you'll kill them. Some only bloom once or twice a year but have a magnificent and long flush of flowers. Also most are extremely fragrant.
www.roguevalleyroses.com has pictures and descriptions for ideas. good luck

alba class is more tolerant of shade than most classes of roses.

also there are many old garden roses that would be small and happy enough for
containers so you can really mix it up. good luck
