I lost this plant when I cut it back to bring in for the winter. Can anyone ID it please? It's the plant in the middle- blue/ purple flowers, green pot.
Thanks so much. -Elizabeth

Plantladylin you don't think it looks like " Synonym:Streptocarpella saxorum ~
from link posted above ?? http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/1961/
I've grown the Concord blue streptocapella one above looks different. There so many of them most blue and look alike.
LOL ... I am not certain of anything. It's a beautiful plant. Elizabeth's plant looks identical to one my sister gets every spring from a local nursery in the North Georgia area where she lives. That nursery told her it is called Dauphin Violet or Streptocarpella Concorde Blue, or Streptocarpella saxorum ... it's sometimes hard to discern the true color of a photograph ... so many times I take a photo of one of my plants and when I post it on the computer, it looks like a totally different color!
Whatever Elizabeth's plant is ... I would LOVE to have one ... that just looks so dainty and pretty!
I googled Dauphin Violet and here's a link I found:

I know there are so many Streptocarpella's that are the same looking blue.
I have grown Concord Blue , they grow wonderful into hanging baskets and butterflies love them.
When I first grew Streptocarpella's All I knew was Concord Blue and most likly would have named it that. But then I fount there were so many different ones.
I did look at the link from plantfiles ecrane3 posted and does look like it !
It sure is the most beautiful one I've ever seen.
I love the pink plant behind to the right of it also.
This seller has a few different Streptocarpella for sale .
I'd like the white Butterfly and Butterscotch !
