To prune or not to prune Marglobes

My Marglobe tomato plant is setting flowers and has 1 fruit.
My question is:Can I prune it while it is setting flowers or DO I prune a Marglobe as I have been told NOT to prune a determinate tomato.
I was on vacation for 2 weeks and now the plant got very big and wide.
Do I leave them just like that?

I would not prune it (and am wondering why you are thinking about doing so).

I'm not familiar with your weather conditions but think you are in a very warm area (?). I think you are safe letting the plant do as it will...pruning will not help it in any way.

I tend to trim the lower branches to keep them off the ground, so yes...you could definitely trim those off. If it is your upper branches that are hanging down low to the ground I'm sure you could trim the ends of them without causing any damage. Is there any way to cage the plant though, to support the limbs and get them off the ground?

I have staked them already,..and here (Aruba) they don't sell cages.Everything is very limited here,,we are a very small island of 100.000 and with only 2 plant stores.

I will trimp the upper and lower branches..Thank you again..
