Is it just me or has anyone else notice that Dave's is getting slow? Seems like I'm waiting for pages a lot longer than normal from time to time.

Daves getting slow?
I've noticed some slowness this morning on and off.
Yup,a little slow today...and here I was cursing my computer!
Marsha.
Same here, it seems to happen every now and then.
yes, this morning... and i also noticed it a week or so back.
I always thought that meant "traffic is up" or maintenance is being done.
I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to bring it back up to see if other people are still experiencing this. It's becoming quite tiresome to wait and wait for pages to load. Perhaps Dave's needs to move to a new server that can handle more traffic? It bothers me more than with other sites because I'm paying for this, as opposed to just being along for the ride.
I, too, have been noticing the slowness in moving around the site. Perhaps there has been a lot of increased traffic and the site needs to upgrade insome way to handle the traffic. I also just renewed and really enjoy all the forums, co-ops and info available but keeping up the technology is critical.
Yep, quite slow. Other sites seem to be very responsive compared to DG.
Claypa, thank you for posting those links.
Glad to see that updates are being made which account for the present slowness. I can live with that! Yes, thanks, Claypa, for posting those helpful links.
No prob. The Dave's Garden forum is good to keep on your watched threads, or at least to look into for any big news or technical goings on with the site.
It was slow a couple of days ago, also thought it was my computer, seems better today.
I've noticed a distinct improvement as well. Way to go, Dave!
