Million Bells that don't flower

Tampa, FL

Anyone have suggestions for getting Million Bells to flower?

They were flowering when planted. They're growing - at least the green stems are; but no flowers. And I've fertilized with Miracle-GroŽ Water Soluble Bloom BoosterŽ Flower Food.

Live in the Tampa area.

Suggestions welcome.

bethe, it could be they are resting or going through some transplant shock, they will probably bloom soon. You could post on the Annual forum and see what others think :)

Bethe: Are they planted in the sun? From my experience they like a lot of sun.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, planted in the sun.

Don't think it's transplant shock as they were planted in December. Since then, lots of green and spreading, but no flowers.

I'll try the annual forum as suggested.

It's odd, as when I lived in CA (northern, near SF) grew these along my front walk; that's the same situation here; and same USDA hardiness zone.

Any other thoughts appreciated.

Oh, it's probably not xsplant shock then. What about your fertilizer, is it high in Nitrogen? That would give you lots of leaf growth and little flowering.

It's possible that MG packaged their product wrong, try another fert for a while and see what happens.
