alright guys! as u know hubby and i built our home. its small , but we did that because we paid for everything ourselves (and thru credit cards) instead of getting a loan, and the permit fees were outragous even on this small house !!! 18k for 900 sq. ft. so we figured lets get it built and we wil;l add on as we live in it... and we are getting ready to add on by the way.. hubby has it staked out already, we will be adding 2000 sq. ft. anyway thats beside the point.. my son will be 11 months old in a few days and i soooo bad needed a yard for him to play in! with a fence and grass! soooo hubby put my white picket fence in !!!! and sprinklers, and is putting 3 or 5 electrical outlets along the fence so i can plug xmas lights in come christmas and also a fountain if i want!!! anyway here are the progression pics!
this is the house right before we graded for the addition house pad and expanded the yard for the fence...
cici77,
Wow! Adorable house and even more adoreable son! ;o) You fence looks GREAT! And that's a beautiful view you have there. Enjoy!
Sherry
Cici, Nice to see your house and fence. And your happy son, such a cutie. Good that you have such a handy man hubby. I really appreciate your making the link for us on DialUp.
What happened to all the garden and flowers that we saw before. I presume you will be moving them into your fenced yard. Looking great and keep us updated.
thanx sherrygirl! i love my little house, even as little as it is! see we lived in a travel trailer for 4+ years while we waited to build this small house.. but this house is MUCH bigger then the trailer , so i cant complain!!!! lol.. and i cant say enough about my baby boy! lol.. we love the area we live in!!! all 20 acre ranches around here , so only one neighbor for us so far!!!! (:
rutholive, ur welcome.. i feel ur pain with dial-up! we just this year in i think january got satalite! we cant get dsl out here as u see we are out in the boonies.. we have dishnetwork and they offer satelite and its just as fast as dial up just MORE expensive, anyway the garden before looks like the rose garden off of sleeping beauty , its horrible right now, and yes most of it will be moved!!! infact tomarrow i have to get on the tractor and move some roses before hubby takes the tractors off to a job! my husband is a general contractor, so he better be handy!!!! lol... anyway thanx for looking , i may send some more pics tomarrow after i plant the roses!!! wish me luck!
Wonderful!
Your baby Hunter is adorable.
Your home and white picket fence are things one dreams of. It is so nice to see a your dreams come true. I have been following your progress for years. So glad you posted again. I hadn't seen your other posts.
Fabulous view..who planted the tall column trees?
Are they on your property?
I was wondering about the great work being done on the house..you are lucky your hubby is a contractor..that explains things.
We have snow here for Easter..it is the coldest Easter I can remember.
Cheers,
Carol
Yes your little Hunter is really adorable. Hope you find time to post some more pictures. We had the warmest day of our year so far yesterday. It reached 80 degrees in town, I live higher up in Cascade footlhills, got to 78 here, was beautiful. Everything is growing so fast now. i am trying to get my little seedlings transplanted to larger 6 or 4 pacs. Most of the outside seeds have been planted and now that the weather has warmed up will surely show signs of growth.
Donna
ok so whoooo wants to see the newly extended fence? yes we made it even bigger , we are getting ready to build onto our house and my hubby had to add sprinklers and change out the ones we had because evidently he thought i wanted a gulf course and not beautiful flower gardens, lol... anyway, u will kinda be able to see where my fence ended by the lack of flowers ont he new addition... the angel and all the flowers near her were up against the picket fence before it was moved....also the fountain will be moved and im thinken so will the hammock...
Beautiful fence ..your home is so sweet..
Nice of you to give us an update.
cici77. It is great to see new photos. 2004 was a long time ago, and you have planted so many trees, etc. Also show where you are making the addition to your home. Looking very good. Donna
