Placerville (formerly Old Dry Diggins') is a fun place to visit if you ever got to N. Cal! It has a rich history and is one of my favorite places.

Why is it those gold panners are never as good looking as cowboys? And we all know the cowboys are always broke! Money or good looks....what a terrible choice to make!

Naahhh, my husband has a few nuggets in his collection....I haven't panned any yet. Maybe someday!

yawn (big stretch), goodness I just had a dream that
I went to Minnesota for 4 days to go fishing,
gosh it all seemed so real, the warm days,
the lazy afternoons in the sun and on the boat,
the cool nights by a wood fire...

Back to the REAL world.
