Well, I just want to say that it is nice to have a place like this one. I have beautiful garden but, it seen like the deers are eating my plants and I need some thing to have them out of my garden, I also like to know if I want to plant some vegetable do I need to put them in a small pot or should I plant them directly to the spot of were a want them to grow?

I thank you any help that I can get.

You can get stakes and screening at any hardware store. It's pretty inexepensive, especially if you have a Walmart.

Yep, NC sure has its share of deer here. You can put up high fencing if you like or you might want to try some of the repellent products that are available, or even some of the "home-made recipes (like hanging bars of soap, putting human hair around, etc).

As for your veggies, can you be more specific as to what kind you'd like to grow? That will help us out with determining the proper answers.
