gardengus mine didn't last as long this year either, but 80F is unusual for summer here! We just had a few more days that weren't in the 30's-low 40'sF! Last year was exceptionally cold. A glimpsed beauty!

donn I love those Ruby Giant, must try to get some. Harmony is very pretty too, trying to tell myself I don't NEED them all!

As it's just gone 2am here, will just post the Narcissus bulbocodium. This is the 2nd time I have had any flower, and only one which looks like a stray, there is a congested group of leaves nearby. Perhaps the moles moved it, or when it flowered last time there was 2 or 3 flowers from 3 bulbs, and they set seed! They are shy to flower, maybe I should divide now they have increased.

Just fabulous ya'll! Keep 'em coming! =)

Painesville, OH(Zone 5b)

These are the same snowdrops from the earlier post. I posted them again when they were in bloom. I'm still waiting on my hyacinth, tulips, etc. Daffodils in the front yard bloomed yesterday, so I'll have to take a pic. Still waiting on the ones in the backyard. Tamara

Thankyou all for your great Spring Is Here bulb photos.

I still am confused by where all my folders are now . I don't know whether to try to find someone else to help me or try to get the same person back since she is the one who moved things around.

I have a really pretty clump of Corydalis solida Geo. Baker if I can just locate it.

Shirley: Lots of color you've got there! So nice.

I accidentally posted this on an Iris thread earlier. (Oops!) Meant to put it here.

Just a little blue squill....late this afternoon, after the sprinkler was turned off.

Did any of you ever force bulbs? I have 6 purple Glads that are in my greenhouse & over 12 inches tall. They should be spectacular. I also have 4 Freesia that are up & growing like mad. I planted 27 (the bag from wally world said it should have 12 in it) in a large pot last night & are in the greenhouse. That way, I can take them into work where everybody can enjoy them.

Georgetown, SC(Zone 8a)

Donna: You're right. It is very, very pretty!
Buttoneer: I found I accidentally forced an Amaryllis. I dug a bunch out last fall to move. Last week I was rooting through a cardboard box in the dark garage and found one at the bottom of the box with a 10" bloom stalk on it!
Anyway, hope you'll post pics of yours; they sound lovely.

Not blooming quite yet, but any day now. These amaryllis are unstoppable. I'll post a pic when it opens, which I hope will be in a couple of days!

What a lovely woodland garden Donna! I see birds on a feeder, and all sorts of interesting fun objects! Nice flowers too!

I realize this is blooming in my greenhouse but when I was in Fla last year, I dug some up & brought it home. I don;t know which Iris it is but for some reason, it seemed to have more purple in the flower when I found it. BTW, It is Dietes irioides. I also started some from seed 6 years ago (I am a very patient person) and it bloomed for the 1st time last year. It's a pity both plants didn't bloom at the same time, so I could cross-pollenate & get some seeds.

This is kind of a late bloomer I think, but it's the first of this variety to bloom for me this season. Judging by it's location, it shouldbe "Einstein".

I LOVE Einstein! I planted my first ones last fall and I am really impressed with them. The color is so pretty. Our tulips are finally blooming after the April deep freeze.
