Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I'm off to print some right now!

Well .... I tried all 3 and all I got was a page with a bunch of letters, numbers & symbols. Must be because I use a Macintosh Computer!

Anyhow, Sheila e-mailed the file to me at home last night, so I can use the one she sent! Just wanted to check and see if it's the same one, but I'm sure it is .... the DG logo with the vines .... lovely!

I was only able to open the third one, which is my own.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I can't open any.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I can only open the third one, that's in Microsoft Word. The first two are in .pub format that I can't open. I'm assuming these were done with a publisher program that I do not have on my computer.

I'm wondering if they could be uploaded as a jpeg, tif or some other format?

I have some publisher programs on my office computer, so I'll see if they will open from work tomorrow.

I could only open Sheila's Word.doc, but the cards look wondrful.

Printed off the first 2 sheets on card stock, then discovered a pkg of the Avery 8371's in DH's file cabinet, so printed off 3 more sheets. Woohoo!

Thanks Sheila and Dave!!

I can make mine into a .jpg file and leave my name off of it or i can probably change the format. I will see what i can do.

Joan, I bet it would open if you have the program Jesse used to create it. It was MS Publisher, but I don't have it at home either.

I uploaded the files just as I received them, so I suspect the issue is incompatible versions of office suites. A jpg or PNG file might be better.

I can open them with Microsoft Office Publisher from my work office.

Sounds like the files are fine, just depends on what programs the person has on their machine. Thanks Dave for your help on these!!

I can make them as .jpg files and just leave off my name or leave a blank for you to add your name. Either way is fine with me. Here is a .jpg with my name deleted.

And I can modify that card any way that you would like for me to if it works for you. I can also modify the other cards that I posted up at the top if anyone is interested in those.

Jesse, I just copied your card above to Paint Shop Pro and saved it as a jpg. Now I can make my own since I have the necessary words and pictures. Thanks.

You are welcome. And you can make it like the one that I did with your name on it if you would like to. The reason I put my name on it is because people ask me what my name is online so they can find me when they come for a visit. It sort of makes people feel better if they actually know someone in person when they get to the forums. I can send the other ones that I did also or you can just copy them from above if you like. And thanks for reminding me and the others about downloading the ones that I did up above and using PSP to edit them. I never thought to use PSP to edit them. Smart idea.

Yes you are right Jesse, I too want others to know my ID. It will make them more likely to sign up if they know someone they can chat with right off. What I did was flip my cards over as soon at the fronts print, and print my email address and my Dave's garden ID on the back. That way I can have some without the id, that I can give out to people at random just to make sure they have the web addresses.
