I would love to hear a variety of carrot that stays shorter and fatter. Also anyone ever try the purple carrots?
Short stubby carrot variety recommendation?
There are round beet shaped carrots, heart shaped carrots and short carrots.

Purple carrots; http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/114207/index.html
http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/66452/index.html Can't tell the purples from a regular orange carrot if you shut your eyes. They are pretty, but some folks reject anything that looks different.
Thanks for the input. I checked them all out and I think that I will try the Oxheart.
Farmerdill, you seem quite knowledgeable; ;maybe you could answer another question for me. The little bagged carrots in the grocery store are just very small immature carrots or are they a variety like that? I bet they have a certain variety that they raise for those. They all seem so perfect.
There are baby carrots, usually just regular carrots pulled young. Those sack ones in the grocery store are usually processed. This is how they do it.

Thanks again, Farmerdill, you are a wealth of information.
