I really MIss my garden!!!!!!!!!

hey guys.
well today,I didn't get up early enought to go to the garden
even tho it was loudy this morning it is still muggy.sounds
like you guys are on the ball,trying to get in home&garden
Huh???????lolI am thinking of writing one of the magazine's
and telling them what buddies her at Dave's Garden are doing
for me!!!!It really has helped you guys to hear what u are doing.I feel better when I read about all the hard work and
plans.Sounds like mike has got alot of color!!!that's ok
about theweeding ((eyes)) ol nana will just make scarecrows
for the fall.See i decided if they give out a award.
you do know the ((National Weed Magazine)) eyes ???

I have to say the weeds sure are shading my plants.The biggest problem I seem to be having is my pond,since i have
been staying in I think the whole darn frog pop.has moved in
it must be because you can't see my pond .I have so many pond plants there's no room for any more to grow!!!!!You can't see water HELP!!!my Dh warden let me go out the other night and the first thing u see when u walk up to the pond is frogs jumping from pad to pad.If I could get a picture of this WOW.Now before I got sick I had one frog living in my pond,either she was expeacting or she has met someone cause there are at least 5 or 10 frogs living there now.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gee, maybe they can play LEAP FROG!!!!lOLOLOLO

Hello there, Miss Nana! I'm glad to here you're feeling better. I don't get to go out and work in my garden a whole lot right now either, due to my 2 year old! I did get to finally re-do a bed that I've hated for years! I ripped out some old ratty overgrown Azaleas and put in the rock garden that I've been wanting (yes, there are plants in there, too!). So I feel better. Our weather here in Washington has been unseasonably cool. That's ok, but the mesquitoes are killing us this year. I am managing to keep up on my seed collecting!

well doris if i can get up in the morning I might just grab a handful of some of my seeds that are ready,I'll even dry them out for u!!!!!!!!!and if u other 3 don't be good ol nana 's going to take u behind the woodshed.!!That is when the warden lets me out of my cell again.And I might just call on granny and horseshoe to help me!!!!!!!!!

All rigth move over here come the energizer bunny to run a muck in Nana's yard maybe he'll even sow those pesky Zinnia seeds he's been planting in my yard. I swear he has planted over 2000 of these and I know I didn't, My perennials are disappearing because of them.
Oh [profanity removed] he's back and now he got a flute and he calling all the toads into the yard, I think I am going to have to get the shot gun out, excuse me!

Gee, it's Friday here in "Church land" and boy is it hectic! I'm trying to get the Sunday bulletin done and everyone KEEPS BOTHERING ME, NANA!!!

Well Saturday we all went to the State Fair boy was that a joke, not like the old days when it was about animals,flowers, vegetables, art, quilts,canning, and you know the things we did growing up to enter in the fair.
The day was filled with almost all commercilized products like Wonder mop, this frying pan and that pan,hot tubs,and etc...
The rides take up more than half of the fair now, And the food oooh my gosh! The grease, the prices, who needs that.
To say we had a great time at the fair, well I think you have the answer.

Sunday we went to a birthday gathering for my youngest niece, now my sister in law was just complaining this last Wednesday she didn't have enough money to pay her bills,and asked to borrow money. But yesterday she had a huge cake, party favors for all the kids,balloons, signs, and then to top it off her gift to her daughter was a brand new Barbe jeep. The kind that has a battery and cost around three hundred bucks well to say the lease I was not a happy camper. I then asked her when We would be geeting the loan back. She left the room in a huff, then came back and told us "I can buy what ever I [profanity removed] well please she's my daughter" Then left the room again. Well we left right after that I had enough and I told my wife there will never be another loan from us.
Well my weekend was ruined but I look forward to a great week now that I am back to DG's.
Today is going to be mowing day as the grass looks terrible. Then if we get that done then I plan to start cutting in some new flower beds in the back yard.

Well, I can see my garden from here. Still can't work in it very often, due to a certain two year old, who shall remain nameless! It's just going to have to have that "lived in" look till the little girl gets older. At least I can collect seed every night! That is the extent of my gardening chores.

Hey, Nana, can you situate yourself near an open window? Smelling the flowers is one of my favorite things. Have your warden bring you in some flowers, too. Hope your eye heals quickly.

I have been outside almost all day working. we cut the grass Saturday, and I was letting the grass clippings dry before I raked and used them for mulch.. I sunk milkjugs into the ground by most of my rose of sharon... ran out of them... so I have to start collecting them again.. lol... I mulched around them heavily with newspaper and the grass clippings... I still have 4 to go, but it was sooooo hot out there... my rose of sharon aren't happy... they aren't liking the dry hot conditions, and I don't want to lose them, I just put them in this spring... I also have gotten my youngest son addicted to gardening... :) he put a garden arch together for me earlier this afternoon, and we are going to set it up tonight..and he wants to plant more morning glories.. :) and maybe I will try moonflowers again..... just can't seem to get them to grow... he has been collecting seeds from the morning glories that we planted earlier around the garden arch that leads a walkway to the front door... this arch will lead to my roses... and will eventually have some crepe myrtle's along the walkway... :) time for me to go.... my youngest daughter is wanting to make a blueberry cobbler in the crockpot...

Sorry about your eye Nana. Like you needed that!!! Hope all is well pretty soon!! Too hot to do anything here now and the plants are burning up. Index in the 100s and hotter tomorrow. I'm not going anywhere!! Spoke to Tim and Erin today on their way up to VA. They were in North Carolina and expected to be here this evening. They are coming to see me tomorrow and he tells me he has goodies for me!! He is such a treasure!! I better tidy the house and get out the cookery books....lol!! Take care and God bless!

Well heat index is going to be about 103 no sniffing flowers today.
I just sail the day away trying to capture the one eyed rat calling pirate. Watch out i got a clue to where the treasure is hidden.
