Hello all, I would like to hear from someone who has actually grown saffron bulbs. Planted 6 last fall, half of them in zone 6, half in zone 4. If you want to know anything except growing instructions, www.saffroninfo.com has it all, but no help on the growing.Thanks for any tips.

Ivey, Doesn't saffron come from Crocus? If so go on the photo forum and talk to Bert. I see he has some photos of Crocus'. Just a thought...Lisa

I grow Saffron and love the stuff. I started with 50 bulbs and have at least 300! I am in Zone 7/8. You need to divide these buggers every year or at least every two years.
