I guess I should 'fess up - I'm definitely old enough to remember the words and lyrics ;o)
Happy Birthday, Terry!!!!
This is the poem the Sunday School teachers would recite, after the birthday child dropped her age's worth of pennies into the slot on top of the "concrete" cake on his/her birthday. (I once asked for a piece of the cake, and found out it wasn't edible. Bummer!) This is from long, long, long, long, long, ago! So to remember it this long, means I must have heard it a lot.
Many happy returns of the day of thy birth; Many seasons of joy be given. And may the dear Lord prepare thee on Earth, for a beautiful birthday in heaven. Amen.
Happy birthday, Terry!!! And thanks for all you do here on DG!!
Happy Birthday Terry!
Hope your cake sticks to someone else's thighs. :)
Happy Birthday Terry!!
Oooh, I almost missed it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERRY. Couldn't happen to a nicer person. Just great meeting you last year, and hope you can join us again this year.
On the birthday issue, just tell folks you are celebrating the __ anniversary of your 39th. Works, and it takes them awhile to figure it out! Oh, and you really don't have to be truthful, you know wink, wink.
Hope it was a good one.
Nearly missed a birthday, so,
Happy Birthday! & Have a Great Year!
Bernie
Thanks, y'all! I especially like Badseed's wish - if only that could happen!!!!
Happy Birthday. Sorry I am late.
LOL at Badseed.
Darn - I missed another one. I hope you enjoyed your day Terry, and that all the ones to follow are wonderful too.

Chuckle. Breakfast sounds good, but I'd have to get up really early to make it to Memphis in time ;o) Thanks for the warm wishes!!!!!
oh sorry Terry. You don't have to drive to Memphis....alzheimers is setting in here. I meant Nashville for the garden show...Quite a lot of us are sharing a few hotel suites in your neck of the woods and planning to meet before the tradeshow at a cracker barrel Sat morning. I'm sure you can find the thread. ΤΏ~ Any excuse for a party I say.
carol
Nashville is do-able. And Cracker Barrel is always a favorite for breakfast. Just tell me when and where!
Which Cracker Barrel is that and when? Hope it is the one near the Oprylland Hotel in my neighborhood. Oh, by the way, can I join you?
By all means, Eleana....do come!
Any DGer that is planning on attending the Nashville Lawn and Garden Show....feel free.....drop in at the thread so we'll know to look for you. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/681483/ I do believe we'll have enough for discounted tickets to the tradeshow too!
We have a number of suites at the Hilton Suites Brentwood ....and I believe the CrackerBarrrel has also been chosen....lost in the thick of the thread somewhere. lol Will ask Lorretta to update the top thread when she gets the chance. Sounds like big fun to me!
carol
Carol, we may not be attending the show as of now. How much would the discounted tickets cost if we managed to have enough?

Elena,I hope you can join us for breakfast or the show or both. I have a feeling we'll all scatter once we arrive at the event, so perhaps we can exchange a few cell phone numbers at breakfast. :-) Terry I am going to try and remember to bring you that copy of the pizza stone cookbook too. Making a note to self.
Boy does that sound like fun!!! Let's see - my daughter lives in Shelbyville, and I fly into Nashville all the time, and drive through Murfreesboro to get to her home. (And shop in Murfreesboro since Shelbyville has diddly squat.) Does that make me an honorary Tennesseean of sorts? LOL!!! You guys have a blast! Wish I were there....;-D
Happy Birthday Terry, I guess better late than never. lol I noticed a few people asking about Nashville and here is the link to the Cracker Barrel location and ticket prices, as well as other stuuf about the show. Anyone who wants to attend is more than welcome to join us for breakfast or any other event.
