pirl, I use to have bad nightmares too. One morning I wole up to blood all over the pillowcase. Asked DH if he had a bloody nose, he said "yes, thanks to you!"
February's Coffee
Arlene's husband would be bothered by this behavior but he needs the apples.
Hello Mark. Thanks for stopping by.
Can anyone remember bad dreams from when they were little? I have a few that I remember. One was about a shadow lady in my room. The other was a recurring dream about a reflective pool and a brightly colored bird. Funny how they stick with me and I had to be under 7 when I had them.
The bag of apples came from a neighbor who received them from her own neighbor, a little "old" man (I'm now older than he was!), and I made an apple pie. I don't know who the man was in my dream.
The man in the dream is not the same man, about 24" tall, dressed in a two piece yellow outfit, trying to get between us in the bedroom. He scared me so much I ran into the closet, but being so frightened, I turned on the closet lights and I curled up into a ball (to be invisible I guess). When the light woke him up and he opened the closet door and asked why I was hiding, I told him and promptly went hysterical again but I was still wary and on the lookout for the 24" tall stranger. I can still laugh about the outfit he wore.
Anita, I don't remember any nightmares as a youngster - just how my much older sister loved to scare me and that was nightmare enough.
Pixie - I didn't draw blood but did attack Jack one night as he was sound asleep.
OMG! The reflecting pool and brightly colored bird dream! Uh oh!
When i was a kid i used to have a recurring nightmare about giant bees attacking me............. never did know what that was all about!!! I used to have the same dream every night...........
These days i dont really have any nightmares at all..................... apart from a couple which involved my ex wife!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Funny, Dave!
Funnier, Mark!

I'm anxious to read Mark's reply!

I've seen Al's picture and it's not that bad!
OK, I guess I don't know how to make the new feature work. I copied & pasted. How am I supposed to link to someone's post?
http://davesgarden.com/forums/p.php?pid=3142447
Here's Terry's explanation. I don't get the same "right-click options" (IE, not Firefox) so I click on the #, when the window opens I click on the browser, then click on edit/copy. Get out of there, go to the post you want to put it into, click there, then click edit/paste. That should do it.
I used copy shortcut for it already.
I'm still amused by Al's budgie smugglers!
Thank you Nancy.
I think I'll do it your way because "copy shortcut" pastes the url w/o being a link.
way too funny... Speedos were never my favorites. I've always felt they were the natural progression to thongs. Now that is not a pretty sight on Florida beaches when I've been there vacationing...men in bathing suit thongs!!!!
I've always loved the differences between British and American slang.

I've actually adopted a few of their words as I wouldn't get me in trouble saying it on this side of the pond.

There is a test on this website for you to take....................... see if you know the English words for some of your american ones!!
Excellent site if you want to know the ways of the british!!
For example................ do you know the answers to these simple questions??
What does one do if they 'spend a penny'?
What has happened to someone who has 'kicked the bucket'?
Why do people in England drive slowly over a 'sleeping policeman'?
hmmmmm...let's see if I can guess without looking it up. I was going to post my answers, but then I thought I would ruin everyone elses fun...
What does one do if they 'spend a penny'? I had to look that up...really funny and I think I'll start using that one
What has happened to someone who has 'kicked the bucket'? Interesting info after I did look it up to see the origin of it- http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/218800.html
Why do people in England drive slowly over a 'sleeping policeman'? I had to look that one up too! Makes sense, at least for what I think is the answer
Hahahahahahaha you learn something new every day dont you!!!!!
You will enjoy that site i think.....................
Today, thanks to Mark, I know "spend a penny".
