Dave
Could you please take a look at this thread: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/650370/
in the BugFiles How-to's forum. There are a few problems with Bugfiles that need fixing,

Dave, can I again refer you to the thread: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/650370/#new
in the BugFiles How-to's forum. You have gone a long way to solving the problems with the index, but there are still a couple of fixes needed,

Ken

Thanks Ken, it's actually still open on my desktop. I usually don't work on the weekends, which would explain my absence the past couple days.

Sorry Dave, all days are much the same when you are retired like me,

I am wishing for a new forum on flowers out of the garden brought in the house. Some people will post professional arrangements and that is great. Some of us would like to get new ideas of what to grow by seeing what someone has stuck in a jar.....I posted on the annual and perennial forums....maybe people will respond.
Thanks for any consideration,
gail

Hi Gail, you should start a new thread with your suggestion--the way to request a new forum is to start a thread here on this forum and send people who are interested over here to put their vote in, that way it's all in one place where the admins can keep an eye on the level of interest and decide whether to give you your forum or not.

Well, good morning, ecrane3 and thanks for telling me how to do this......playing with plants today with another DGer....will do first chance I have....am I correct in starting thread on Dave's forum here?????????

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

Yes, this is the right place. It's also OK to post in other forums telling people about the forum you're requesting, just make sure to include a link to the thread in this forum so that if they're interested they will post their response in the right place (admins only watch the thread in this forum to decide whether or not to make a new forum)

Errrr, it's okay to cross-post your message in a select, targeted number of other forums - ideally no more than 2-3 other foums, max.

We don't encourage cross-posting of messages, and we get complaints if there's a flurry of cross-postings in numerous other forums.

Sorry...didn't mean to encourage random cross posting! Gail mentioned that she had posted the idea already in annuals and perennials and I wanted to make sure she knew she had to send people here if she wanted their votes to count.
