grub worm problem

New yard - tons of white grubs. what do you suggest and when should I do it? It's SW Va.

I can dig in any 1x1 inch spot and find a grub. This is terrible.

You might try milky spore.

I need to look up milky spore - not familiar with any thing to do with these little mosters.
