Flowers that do not attract bees.

south central, WI(Zone 5a)

I have lots that attract bees, but neighbor has GD who is very allergic, so told her I would check before sending along any more plants for GD to plant. Advised moving hummingbird feeder away from deck (replace with sprinkler spray for them to take showers)..but we are having so many bees and wasps,so would like to help her keep and expand a safer garden.
Any ideas or web links?

I don't know how helpful this information will be since we live in different areas but I have purchased from Home Depot as a container filler plant a generic purple aster, which seems to be available here every fall. Not a bee or wasp touches it. All surrounding plants are covered with bees but this plant they pass by. I actually gave the plants to a friend who is also allergic. My other thought is try finding plants that use other ways to reproduce, flys pollenate certain plants, for example Ceanothus americanus, New Jersey Tea, but I'm not sure if bees are also attracted. Is it bees that don't see the color red? Sorry if this post is short on hard facts, it's an interesting subject and I hope you get some good posts.

Here is what I found on the net:

Plants that don't attract bees are less common. They include cultivars of dianthus, geraniums, chrysanthemums, marigolds, strawflowers, some zinnias and many roses.
