I can not do the seed trading forumn untill my mom makes me a member. I can not get a credit card :( She is canceling my Runscape online gaming membership and getting a membership to here. I will check it out though once I am a member.

And bettygail, I will check out you lists and see if there is anything I want. Also would you like the Datura Stramatorum or the Datura Metel? Also remember these are very poison so try not to leave around pets. I have heard that the pets do not realy seem to bother it but try to leave out of there reach.

Gloucester, MA

Bettygail, are you going to make a seed want list?

Sparisi1122, I just found this thread and Welcome to DG! If you like gardening you'll love DG!
I joined just over a year ago. I look forward to seeing you on the forums!

It does not say the strains but here is a picture of the packet. It shows the different stains in the picture. And thanks! I will look forward to seeing you on the member forums too. God bless you all!

So, Sparisi...What are some of your favorite plants?

Gloucester, MA

Thanks for asking. Here are some plants in general, not specific strains.

Datura

Brugmansia

Dandelion (also my guinea pig's favorite)

Coleus

Hawaiian baby woodrose

Pothos

Jerusalem Cherry

Magnolia

Venus Fly Trap

Currant

Morning Glory

That is some of them. I kind of like Dumb Canes, but when the foliage rots it smells like rotten fish.

I have so many plants. Fist I have 10 houseplants, then 20, then 30 not they are taking over my basment kitchen, my first floor kithen, my living room, my tv room, and my bedroom. I live in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts and it is so cold here, so I grow a lot of houseplants to keep me bust in the winter.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Sparis, I am waiting on lots of plugs for coleus to finish out....I don't know your address to send you lots of Grandpa Ott's seeds now or how I do this. The coleus won't be ready until May..somebody out there help us out as to how to send the Grandpa Ott seeds Sparis wants.

Decatur, IL(Zone 5b)

As for sending the seeds to Sparis just get their address from them through dmail to keep it private and then put the seeds in a Bubble envelope with approx 52 cents in stamps and toss it in the mail. However it is cold now and Morning Glory seeds will freeze and be of no good. So maybe to wait until warmer weather. Ofcourse I take the chance as to check the mail as soon as it gets here and bring it in. I will soon see if I have any problems with that as that I am getting ready to indoor sow a bunch of them.

Sparis I would also be interested in your Bamboo like I have plenty of MG to share if you are interested.

Also bettygail I am interested in several that you have. Such as:

Thyme,
Oregano,
Marjoram 'Sweet',
Parsley 'Italian',
Mint 'Spermint',
Basil 'Genovese'
Calendula 'Flashback',
Queen Anne's Lace
''Green Mist' and
'White Dill',

Beck

BTW welcome to DG when you became a member.

(Zone 6a)

I've never grown a Venus Fly Trap before, are they difficult? I also really like Morning Glories, I just ordered a bunch through mail last week, I hope they get here soon!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

rwmedic you have a dmail

Gloucester, MA

Samuel Parisi
7 Gaffney street
Gloucester MA 01930

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

You might not want to post your address on the forum for everyone to see--I would dmail it to the person who you're trading seeds with so it stays between you and them. If you want to remove it from your post above, you'll see a link under your name in that post that says "edit", click that and it'll let you change your post.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Sparis1122, is the morning glory 'Grandpa Otts" all you want from what I offered on that list. I have confirmed with the other lady that I would put her request in the mail in the morning...I will send yours, too..if that is what you want.....

Ferndale, WA(Zone 8b)

I love this thread. It's so fun to watch a new gardener's enthusiasm. I have 30 in-door plants, 50 potted Japanese Maples outside, and a small yard in a housing development, full of gorgeous plants. It's my first year with seeds, lots of experimenting. I killed two expensive bonsai trees this winter, and I am looking forward to spring again. How extremely bored I'd be without gardening.
