Ya know, Herbie43, If you put pictures of those cookies on the plant trading forum and the seed trading forum you could trade for absolutely anything you wanted for your garden!

It looks very inviting and delicious!

Suzy -- (I just popped in because of the subject line -- are we ready -- for what? LOL! I didn't makeone single cookie this year -- not even from a Pilsbury roll of dough!

Rutland , MA(Zone 5b)

illoquin - shame on you.

San Tan Valley, AZ(Zone 9b)

Rutland , MA(Zone 5b)

dann L - i think my wife converted one of the bedrooms to a cookie factory. if you open the door cookies tumble out. only thing left are the rice balls and the home made mozzerella. will try to get pictures posted before tomorrow.

Rutland , MA(Zone 5b)

here is the mozerella. this will end up as another appertizer. we slice it then add sliced tomatoes and onions then we spoon a little olive oil over it and finish it off with some oregano. will start deep frying the riceballs later today and will post what i promise will be the last picture . LOL

my wife will have these on the table when our guests arrive so they know where to sit. (sometimes she goes overboard on this stuff), still, i think its different and i feel people like it when you go out of your way for them.

elaine - only 15 people and two of them are youngsters. my grandmother used to say that if there is no food left on the table then you didn't cook enough. my wife follows in that tradition.

Wow Frank, that's is impressive. Bored - I don't think so. I don't think I have enough gas in my car - darn it. Everything looks yummy. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.

LOL Frank ... I totally agree! Merry Christmas to everyone and hugs all way round!

Merry Christmas to you and yours Frank. I am sooo glad I have made your aquaintance here of DG.
DH has the truck running - figure with this weather we could do a drive by food fest from all that you have to offer. I too was raised with the idea that is there was no food left at the end of dinner - shame on you as the host as you DID not make enough.
Wishing you peace, health and happiness Frank!
Hugs and smiles across the miles

This thread has been great fun to watch and read. Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful presentations of food. I warms my heart to know that some people still take great joy and pride in food preparation.
