Has anyone tried to release Aphid Predators (Aphidoletes aphidimyza) in their greenhouse to control aphids?
Does it work? Do the Predators become pests?

Aphid Predators
The predators can't become pests because they feed only on aphids as larvae (nectar as adults). They will die out if there is no food for them. This gives you a lot of information: http://www.nysaes.cornell.edu/ent/biocontrol/predators/aphidoletes.html
Another good biological control is the parasitic wasp Aphidius matricariae. This tiny nonstinging wasp lays eggs in aphids, which then hatch, eat the aphid's insides, pupate inside the aphid mummy, and emerge through a perfect circular escape hatch as an adult. Then they mate, and start the whole process over again. Very effective.
What about Lady Bugs?

Thanks for the info!
