Photo blow-ups

SF Bay Area, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks, Andy. The main reason it became apparent to me was that I happened to open a picture that was huge, and realized I had to scroll over to read the text. That got me to thinking about the different-sized photos and I checked them out. Granted, most of the photos ARE the medium-sized ones, but the addition of this new feature doesn't change the size of the original photos when they're viewed.

Maybe you're right. I have seen the 2 smaller sizes, but not a larger sized one which is what I post. Although on the larger ones you have to scroll over so far to read the text anyway.

Yes, you do, but fortunately most of the pictures are of the medium-sized variety so it usually isn't a problem. Glad I could clear this up for you.

I'm on dial-up, so I read the post as the picture loads in. What's not to like?

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

I hope you'll make it an option. I have problems with 'busy' pages. When I open a photo now my eyes are constantly drawn to the text. That seems it would really detract from the photographers intent

I almost always have my pages reduced to half-screen width, because I'm working with multiple pages open at any given time.

I typically have to scroll a bit to see the whole picture anyway - the text is great, but IMHO, it's not obtrusive (since I have to scroll to see it ;o)

I love the feature as you can highlight to copy then paste as you see things that you wish to comment on, or save to another place without having to go back to the text. I am a horrible speller, so this will be much quicker for me. Thanks, Patti

Works just fine for all reasons indicated above. I just read this for giggles, we do carry on so about things. Thanks again Dave and Terry for having us in your garden party.

andyp, I always use a spell ck, but I thought another couldn't hurt, so I downloaded it. Now I just have to find out how to use it. Thanks, Patti

There should now be an "ABC" icon on your top tool bar. Just click it.
My spelling has improved immensely with it. lol

I'm old fashioned. I still use a dictionary and a thesaurus. Hey I spelled that right!

I have noticed this good feature recently. I feel that it may not have been that necessary. The < and > buttons were good enough and also quick if not at seeing the post on the same view. It's good anyway.
