I didn't see a golf course near it, not that I can recall. We were visiting a historic plantation. All I recall is that it was mostly cypress swamp around there.

I googled and read there was one in CA. that was 250 something feet long, I figured that was it. Supposed to be the longest single span covered wooden bridge anywhere.
