Where Am I - A Fun Game - Part 4

Lake Norman?

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Fontana Lake?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

No, not those, either. It's a natural lake, not a reservoir. Also, look at how flat the land is around it.

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

waccamaw ?

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

Mattamuskeet?

Phelps Lake?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

Yes, that's it!

Anyone on dial-up want me to start a new thread or can I continue with this one?

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Well, I have dial-up & it's not too slow, yet ~ but it's getting there. I can't believe I got it! Is there a golf course next to it?

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

Well finally someone got it..nice job music.
Kelli, you can start wherever you want, this is a fun game. Maybe one of these days I'll go somewhere so I can take pics.

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I didn't see a golf course near it, not that I can recall. We were visiting a historic plantation. All I recall is that it was mostly cypress swamp around there.

What is the name of this body of water?

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Well I don't know about this ~ but DH says that it's in Cal. & was used in an Italian movie. Is he right? ( I hope not)

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

South Yuba River?

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

Just a guess..Owens River ?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

It is the South Yuba River. (I have no idea about the Italian movie.)

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

got more pics, that was over too soon.

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

How about Saddleback Butte St. Park?

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

I don't have a clue!

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

No, not Saddleback Butte.

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

Well, good, I needed a marshmallow. Did you know that song you mentioned at 12:45 is the state song of South Carolina? LOL ! The new picture looks nice, warm and dry... it's cool and wet here.

Is it in Arizona?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I did not know about the state song of SC. Interesting.

How did you know South Yuba River?

Not AZ.

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

I googled and read there was one in CA. that was 250 something feet long, I figured that was it. Supposed to be the longest single span covered wooden bridge anywhere.

Utah?

Burlingame, CA(Zone 9a)

New Mexico

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Santa Ana Reg.Park?

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Those.. formations are interesting. Are they parts of an old mud daub wall, or giant termite hills (seems unlikely, but...), or rotting remains of trees (would have to be REALLY big trees!), or...

Going with the tree theory, I'm going to guess Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, but I'm not expecting to be right. LOL

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

I can't even guess a state...so I'll just say Ohio ?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

It is in New Mexico. The "formations" are remains of adobe walls.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Ok, that makes a lot more sense than old trees. LOLOL Is it Carlsbad Canyon National Park?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

No, not Carlsbad Caverns

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Is it the ruins that are right in Farmington?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

No, not that.

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Elephant Butte?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

No, but sort of getting closer.

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

how about Diamond Park?

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Is it south of Albuquerque?

Burlingame, CA(Zone 9a)

Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

None of the places mentioned.

South of Albuquerque.

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Manzano Mts. State Park?
