It is White Sands National Monument. (The cactus is outside of the dunes are, hence the sand is not all that white.)

It is fun reading the maps and discovering all these new places. Imagine living in Truth or Consequences? Another lucky guess.

When I was a kid, I used to look at maps to find strange names. Some of the best were in West Virginia.
