Burlingame, CA(Zone 9a)

Willow Creek? Hale Creek? Tasquera Creek? There are a lot of creeks in SLO County!!!

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

None of those. I'll give you a hint. It's a creek that empties directly into the ocean.

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Is there such a thing as San Antonio Creek?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I think there is, but that's not it.

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh, oh, oh! I know this one! It's that creek that empties right into the ocean and is surrounded by all those Monterey Pines! Oh, it's right on the tip of my tongue....what's the name of it again Kelli? Oh, come on, you remember don't you? He he he.

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

Alva Paul Creek, Pico Creek, Arroyo Grande Creek, Asbury Creek, Packwood Creek, Broken Bridge Creek, Cayucos Creek

Ok, that's enough for now. LOL

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

No, no, no. None of those. I don't know where all of those are but I think you need to go further north.

Nichols, IA(Zone 5a)

This is fun even tho I have no guesses!

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

Coon Creek?

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

How about Estrada Creek?

It IS very hard to read the letterings on these maps! Here's where I'm looking... I don't know if it's the right area or not, but we can all be lost together at least. LOL http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?lat=35.76681&lon=-121.2424&s=250&size=l&symshow=n&u=4&datum=nad27&layer=DRG

Burlingame, CA(Zone 9a)

Where can I get a map big enough to read the names clearly??? LOL... My eye are getting as bad as music2keeps!

How about Villa Creek or Alder Creek?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

The topozone web site isn't working right now so I'll have to get back to you on that. Otherwise, no, it isn't any of the creeks named so far.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

That's odd.. it was working just a few minutes ago. I hope I didn't break it! LOL

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

Topozone just crashed on me. Could this be any funnier? Oh well, I have to decorate for trick or treat and make a spider costume for our Doberdude dog. I'll be back...haaaa haaa haa ha haaaaa (spoooooky laugh).

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh, sorry, missed your posts in a tizzy over the site not working, LOL

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

Marylyn, I think they charge you $15.95 for each map you break.

Burlingame, CA(Zone 9a)

Try Terraserver http://terraserver.microsoft.com

Burlingame, CA(Zone 9a)

How about Santa Rosa Creek?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

Getting close, wgnkiwi

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

ROFLOL

Is it Arroyo de la Cruz?

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh, that's great! Thanks, wgnkiwi!

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

Marylyn, your map is just a little too far norht. Arroyo de la Cruz isn't too bad, but Santa Rosa Creek is closer.

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Is it Caon Creek? Now I'm not sure I spelled it right, but that's what my eyes think it is! ;-))

Joey

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Leffingwell Creek?

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I don't know what Caon Creek would be, but this creek doesn't have a C in it. Leffingwell is getting quite warm.

Whats next? Something that doesn't require a magnifying glass???!!!???

Marylyn - I hear you! My husband has just started working from home and I made him promise that he was not allowed to comment at all on what I do with my day. LOLOL...

Here is a view of the ocean from the same general area. You'll notice that these trees do not have lichens. Most of them didn't. It was only in a relatively small microclimate.

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Is this taken in Ca? Every one seems to have on jackets like it's cold & fall-ish.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I was thinking West Virginia...

Peterstown, WV(Zone 6a)

Well, ya know ~ I was thinkin' Seneca Rocks! Cuz of the monster rock in the back on the right. I'm really not sure that it's a rock, now that I've looked again.
