Whats blooming at your house?

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I still have a lot blooming, how about you? Here is a large cassia that is about 12 feet tall. Full of yellow blooms.

About all we have blooming up here are white asters, and my Chlorophytum major (hardy spider plant)... I do have a hardy, winter-blooming Camellia that's getting ready for its January blooming session.

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Lisa, your 'vine is covered with orange blooms' is cape honeysuckle (Tacoma capensis).

I have CROCUS blooming right now!! LOL Hasn't this weather been strange?

Fulton, MO

Rylaff, by the time my Tricyrtis blooms, the foliage looks terrible, not picture worthy. Outside I have a couple of Ackerman Camellia, Centranthus, Abelia...oops, this is the tropical forum!

Blooming in the GH are Bulbine frutescens, Mitriostigma axillare (African Gardenia), Strelitzia reginae, various Gardenias, Barleria 'Rosea,' Plumbago, Heliconias, couple of citrus. Plumeria rubra 'Moir Pink' is just about to bloom.

I bet it is lovely in your greenhouse.

Outside mums.

Inside: Some Den orchids and an Oncidium spiking!
A couple of potted red impatien cuttings.
Several Amaryllis sending up flower spikes.

I have the same as Rylaff except the clematis. The biggest show is from my Bouvardia ternifolia which pretty much blooms year round. Still have plenty of Tropical hibiscus and adeniums going to town. The Confederate Rose is showing off and an old heirloom rose, Slater's Crimson China loves this weather. Lot's more but I can't think of them all right now. Here is the Bouvardia.

What a sweet picture.

Thanks, if you don't grow this you ought to try it, it just blooms non stop at least 10 months of the year. The flowers get a little thin in the winter. It is twiggy and impossible to root but I still love it. My mature one is in a pot but I bought a new one from Woodlanders this year and put it is the ground. It doesn't look wonderful right now but perhaps by spring it will look better.

Fayetteville, PA(Zone 6b)

My Hedychium coronarium (which I'm wintering inside this year and planting outside in the spring) is starting to push out a flower spike on one of the stems....

Georgetown, SC(Zone 8a)

Blooming now are Hedychium (Moy Giant), several Salvia, Impatiens and Zinnias just won't quit -and like Rylaf, - I also have a confused Clematis (Ernest Markham) which has buds.

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

Dutchlady ... Beautiful! I'm 'nursing' mine. No blooms yet and really don't expect any until next spring. But maybe next year mine will be as pretty. I'm new to the plumeria's and have taken off with them with a vengence! Between your recommendations and Claire's I'm certain I will be successful.

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

love those plumies especially that last one almost looks lavendar

Candela - it actually is a very pale lavender. I love that one. And you know what? I got it at Home Depot...... blooms its head off too!!
