How do I overwinter my Lakeview Jasmine?

Bensalem, PA(Zone 6b)

Hi gang!
I just wasn't sure where to post this question so I thought I'd ask here.
I have 2 large Lakeview Jasmine standards that I need to overwinter. I have a sunroom in my house where I kept them last year but they took up a lot of room and made the floor a really sticky mess.
I was hoping this year I could overwinter them in my unheated garage.
Does anyone know if this is possible or how exactly I could go about it?
I really love these plants and I'd hate to lose them. I've done lots of web searching but haven't really found a definitive answer.
I'd really appreciate your help.
Thank you,
Becky

Becky, I'm not positive, but I think if your basement doesn't get much below 50 degrees it would be okay. I have a Bougainvillea that I put beside the west side of the house for the winter, it survives and it's a tropical.
