Cynthia, I'd love one of those Argentine Skies. I've got a darker purple but have never seen this one. (and why haven't you told me about this?!) You know you can have anything you want out of my yard!

Can't make the nov RU... doing both Oct ones. Maybe someone from SA is doing it that can bring them back for me. really want the rangoon! + others too!
Will not be making the November one. Too many Irons in the fire.
Renatelynne--Find someone at your meet that is coming to the College Station. I'll be happy to send your plants back with them--just dmail me their name--I might not see it on the forums. I'm just active here tody because I'm "slacking off" from the work I NEED to be doing on the computer--lol--but I need to get busy!
Same here - no way I can make the Nov swap.
I'm sure Josephine will bring the asters to you Mitch. I know you will love them, they are TOUGH!
:-) What was it you wanted from me... I can send it with her for you.
I am pretty sure I will be at college station Debbie.
I'm planning on making it to College Station. I have your crinums, they're looking good. (Are you thinking about "chipping" these? I have been following your comments on another thread. I may have some other bulbs to donate to the cause if you are interested. Byzantine glads and maybe some blue roman hyacinth.)
I came home from my parent's house in Michigan with several seed pods of False Indigo (Baptisia australis). Does anyone want some?
I also have several seed pods of yellow Esperanza I'd be happy to share.
I've been successful in rooting 2 Mexican Flame Vines from the parent plant. Sheila is getting the parent, but the other 2 are available for whoever wants them. This is a really easy plant to grow.
Carla
I must be doing something wrong then... My Mexican Flame Vine (at least that is what they told me it was) isn't hardly growing at all. I planted it in may.
My Mexican Flame Vine is in a planter (not the ground) and gets most day sun, with late afternoon shade. As long as it gets watered almost every day, it's a happy plant. But I think things put in the ground react differently. Your MFV may be putting all of its energy into simply surviving. What is the old saying: first year sleep, second year creep, third year leap. Don't give up on it.
Carla
mine is in a planter too. I haven't completely given up on it... but it sure doesn't look like much

debnes_dfw_tx's I am interested in the following. Ted
Solenostemon scutellarioides
Passionvine Lt Blue Crown with Purple Center
ok ted, i marked it down on my copy.
: )
Dawn--I will take any bulbs I can get! Gladly give them a good home. I'm not sure what I'm gonna chip yet--I think I'll try amaricrinum before a regular crinum because I have a lot of those--lol--I don't know, it might be a long learning curve--lol
I will definitely be at College Station. Somebody needs to start a trade list for there.
The Byzantines I can trade you something for. Dmail me and I can link you to another place where you can see what I've got to trade.
Debbie
I am not bragging but my MFV is doing beautiful... its sort of struggling because the Hyacinthe vine and the Fig tree has gone crazy and covering it up! I am going to have figs people!
edited for spelling

ohhh I LOVE figs! my tree is about 2 ft tall! *giggle... so it will probably be a few years before I get any figs!
debnes
would love Solenostemon scutellarioides and bluebonnet
Renatelynn, I have had mine for about three years... do you see it back there? ... next to the Hyacinthe vine? well the MFV is under there. I really didnt buy that tree for the figs, I just love the shape of the leaves. I might need to cut that big part off because I got a tomatoe cage holding it up. I just discovered that a soaker hose is running down the middle of it, on the ground. ...goes to show how smart some men are. lol
It looks like it likes where it is.... I bought my parents a fig tree. Of course it just was really producing a good crop when they sold the house and moved! so I planted one here at my house this year. It was a small one though.
debnes - I would love some of the Lupine, Bluebonnet seeds and one or both of the Jasmines. Please look over what i have and see if there is anything you would like...
Sylvia, is your MFV in the ground? Does it overwinter in our area? I would bring in a photo of mine, but then you'd all be insanely jealous and trying to wrest it away from Sheila at the swap. ;-)
Carla
Loonie - I would love one of the cuttings....
You've got it, Mitch.
Carla
I can't wait to get my MFV from you Loonie! And I will share cuttings as it allows. I am curious like Sylvia, will it over-winter in ground or should I leave it in a pot and bring it in?
Ok Mitch I have marked those for ya on my list...dmail to make sure . I can double tag it.
Yes renatelynne, and also for you..
just to be specific on what y'all want~ dmail me and I can give anyone my phone number there, and sure confirmation on what ya need.
I haven't been to a DG swap b4, some tips would be appreciated from anyone who has.

The swap - the DFW Swap and Round Up is a very relaxed place,,, lots of talk plants and eatting... and some bug bites to round it all off. Just come and have fun.
debnes, I'd love to have some lupine seeds and a passion vine cutting if you still have one. Please check my list near the top of this thread and let me know what I can bring for you. These swaps are so much fun. It's all about meeting with friends and sharing some conversation, good food, and plants.
Carla, if you have still have some baptista and esperanza seeds, I'd like to have a few. Thanks, Patricia
writing all the above down.. marking off things, and starting more by popular demand.
:-)
Pat--what kind of passionvine are you looking for?
Debbie, any passion vine that is hardy in zone 7b/8a. I've run out of room in the greenhouse! DH won't let dump his big three tomato plants. lol
Patrob, I will gladly share my Baptista and Esperanza seeds. And I have an extra Cerulea passionflower vine in a planter that you can have, if you'd like. I got a little carried away this summer and bought too many. Now I don't have room along the fence for all of them. The Gulf Fritillaries love it.
Carla
I believe the passionvine I have is very hardy. I am saving you some.
Debnes
The main things I am interrsted in are>
Milkweed, plants/seeds any kind
Rue Ruta graveolens plants/seeds
Cassia Alata seeds
Debnes
I added some Sedum/Autumn Joy to my cuttings. Ted it is very drought tolerant. Hardy as all get out.
Debnes
do you have the green antalope milkweed? I think I have some seed here I gathered this summer from the ones around me.
