Daily Musings, Page Two
Kassia, I was thinking the same thing about the number of views. It's over 1200 now. The previous 'Daily Musings' is over 1300. My, my. 240 posts, too.
I snapped an interesting pic today, it may be a good one for 'Page 3'.
We'll wait for Al to tell us what those seeds are.

OK - I knew it was a bit tougher as no one usually leaves the seed stalks on. Those darn things are lethal weapons practically.

the stringy hairs on the leaves are the giveaway.
I would like to know how many different people have viewed the threads myself.
my next door neighboor has at least 4 of that plant... oh, well, the only seeds I know are marigolds (which I have a shoe box filled with seeds) Datura, daisies... and I pricked my fingers trying to get black eye susan and purple cone flower... not trying again...
Pixie: Great spider
Andy: great shot, loyal bee.
Al: Great ???? (Its evergreen?)
Al, common plant? not that I'm not familiar with it, but show of hands, how many of you have yucca in your garden? (just teasing...I was thinking of getting one cuz they're neat, but I've never seen the seed pod)
Anita...too funny
Pix..those spiders are neat. are those the ones that change color to match where they are? I think someone was trying to ID one on another thread.
Kass, I've heard of Der Rosenmeister, it's been discussed on the rose forum. sounds like a great place. quite a haul from here, though. I don't travel much anymore. love the mail order.
Since when is Yucca a common plant??
lovely Pixie -just what I wanted.
Al - I never would have guessed that.
Yucca's pretty common around here, usually you get out the lopers and cut offf the stalks after flowering, but that plant is at my work and I only take care of my plants there.
Dave - they do stay green during winter, maybe a little ratty by spring.
Al, I don't think I've ever seen the Yucca make seed up north. I thought we didn't have the right bugs to pollinate them. Could it have been the mild winter that allowed new bugs to migrate this far north? I could be wrong about the bugs, too, lol.
Pixie, I brought a few plants in last night, just in case. Still no frost here though.
I've started 'Page 3' http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/659026/ this one is getting long. Please join in over there.

Thanks for letting me know Pixie... the worse is that I am having such fun with all my roses blooming right now... (the miniatures are not getting sleepy yet...)
now that's a killer frost??? I was reading yesterday about how to do winter sow and some seeds are supposed to be planted after the first killing frost... I am wondering what that means...
Kassia, I think its a heavy frost that kills even hardier vegetation (Like pansies)
Thanks Dave, I will wait for that... rigth now the only seeds out are the datura, I was told that I can leave the pod explode and leave the seeds around where they fell...
