Phooey! Powdery mildew on 2 lilacs!!

After years of no PM on my lilacs (Chinese and Mme Lemoine), what do I do? Relandscaped, threw out the Chinese lilac (didn't like the smell of it), saved Mme Lemoine and bought 3 Syringa vulgaris, bare-roots things. Today what do I see but PM covering 2 of the new Syringas. Aaack!! All I have now is RosePharm, so sprayed with it I did. Hope to keep the PM off the roses too, they are near the lilacs in my one and only sunny spot.
