If you look at my hands you might wonder why they look 20 years older than I am. The reason is that I was a serious photographer over 20 years ago, way before digital photography. My hands reflect the years of working with photographic chemicals.

I find myself a little miffed that what took yards and yards of film to produce can literally be done in an instant .. but then again I'm delighted that it doesn't take yards and yards of film to create what my mind sees anymore. Wonder of wonders .. digital photography has removed the perimeters of possibilities.

My hands are "old" looking too. Where you got yours from all the yrs. you were a photographer, I was born with mine. Even as a child my hands looked old. Now I have age spots and the veins stand out, but I figure I have had fun getting the age spots. Great daylilly pix.

Hands are another subject. I work with mine always have and will as long as able. They aren't attractive, but I am not ashamed! I notice more men are shaking hands with women and I am proud to meet the measure with a firm handshake.

X ~ you have a talent to see and describe things that give me another perspective when I look at plants. Beautiful photo and great timing on the bloom. Thank you... pod
