Help...........I need something to get rid of the ants on my okra. It seems nothing I use is working.
Thanks in advance for all y'all's help.

Ants won't really hurt your plant, but if the problem really is just ants and you just don't want them on the plant I think a strong blast from the hose will get rid of them, then maybe put out some ant baits. But often ants don't come on their own...is there any chance you could have aphids on the okra? Ants like the honeydew that the aphids make so when I see a bunch of ants crawling on a plant I usually suspect aphids. As long as the aphids are there, the ants will follow, but if you get rid of the aphids then the ants will go away too. If it is aphids, you can spray them with a strong jet of water which will wash them off the plant (may need to repeat), or you can spray them with dilute dish soap, or probably any number of chemicals as well but I'm assuming since you might eat the okra you don't want to spray anything too nasty on them.

Thanks, Ecrane, I will try blasting them with water or diluted dishsoap, which works well on other little critters. I don't see any sign of aphids, but will check closer.
