I'm having a couple of problems and I'm just not experienced enough to know what's going on. One is with my straw flowers and another flower that I forget what it's called. They're turning brown and basically dying off. I don't see any bugs and I wondered if it's possibly some kind of fungus or something. Here's the straw flowers....

Here's the other flowers. It's a bit harder to see here because of the sun and because I cut out a bunch of the dead stuff but the stems and leaves are turning brown and dying.
And my other problem is with my salvia. It's yellowish and it's getting all leggy and generally not looking good. Not much new growth either....
All of this stuff looked fine and only recently started pooping out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, not a new bed and no black walnuts. Only other butterfly flowers, herbs, some sun loving tropicals....
