spider question

dh and I went swimming the other day, usually I get everything ready the night b4, clean my chair and what not, well I was lazy and didn't do anything until the morning we left, dh put my chair in the back of the truck (with out cleaning it off) with everything else and off we went. when we arrived at the beach and sat everything up, I unfolded my chair to a surprise. There was this spider the whole thing was about the size of a dime. I have never seen one like this and wish I had my camera with me to get a picture of it.
It had a round (like a pearl button) white back with 4 black (almost square) looking spots on it. Has anyone seen anything like what I discribed?
If so, do you know what it is? My chair is stored in our attached garage and I haven't come across one of these b4 now or since....
Any ideas if harmful or not?

I searched all 31 pages of google images, nothing close.

This is very similar to it, maybe the one I saw was still young.
