I planted it this spring. It was slow emerging and got about 5 large leaves a couple of weeks ago. But deer discovered it and now it has only two leaves left. Should I--could I--dig it out and pot it at this point?
What should I do with elephant ear that deer had for dinner?
It should be fine to leave it or dig it and pot it. Just make sure to shade it while it settles and give it enough water, but no too much depending on what type it is. Mine do well potted in Promix but I used to grow them in MG potting soil too.
Thanks, Badseed. I'll wait for the rain and then dig it out. Cincinnati's summer is brutal!
