This guy showed up last year on my lamb's ear.
My Lamb's ear blooms look ugly this year and there are more of this guy.
They are pretty small to try to get a good photo but any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thank you.
ID Bug for Jen #2
I think it's a twice-stabbed stink bug (Cosmopepla lintneriana) - see here for some pictures... http://bugguide.net/node/view/6433 . Click on the small pictures for larger views.
I'm pretty sure that's yours - the two "stab marks" are characteristic - but there are several other kinds of stink bugs, so you may wish to check out some of the others, just to be sure. Here's a link to all the different stink bug genera - both plant-feeding and predatory... http://bugguide.net/node/view/182/bgpage . There are about 6 pages of genera there.
Edited to add: If you don't want to have to start a new thread each time you have an insect of questionable merit ;), you can also dig up my "Friend or Foe" thread that I've been neglecting (I think I'm on #7). That shows up in my thread-watcher, so I'd see your question.

Thanks again Night Bloom.
I wonder if I should try to rid them.
My Lamb's Ear Blooms look weak this year.
