Got a bird bath? Do you plant any thing around it?
Mine sits on top of an overturned 5 gallon bucket that hides the well head.
I've tried a few other flowers to hide the ugly bucket but these Redskin Dahlias work fine.
Here is what it looks like today, just starting to bloom. It should last until frost with weekly dead heading.

Very pretty Andy. I love dahlias. One of my gardens focal point is a birdbath and I have zinnias, lantana, petunias, and 4 o'clocks planted around it. Almost forgot I have banana trees there too. This was taken early spring. My zinnias are now as tall as the birdbath itself and the other plants are much taller too.
