I live in NE Ohio and planted St Johns Wort two years ago, with existing flowers; however, the folage is growing beautifully, but I don't have any blooms. Does anyone know why that would be? They are planted in a Sunny to part shade, partially sandy area...I love the bloom this plant produces, but I have yet to see it!
ST JOHNS WORT
Any idea how to propagate? I'd like to make more.
Well, I'm trying to root cuttings. I'll post the progress.
To Knolan,
my plants look more like ground cover. I wonder if it is because yours is in a real sunny spot, where mine is more shade than sun. I think they propogate on their own. I haven't had to do anything. I planted 6" three plants two years ago and now they are covering a 4 x 4 portion of one of my beds.
