Yellow Perimeter on Leaves

San Diego, CA(Zone 10b)

Good Morning,

Does anyone know what is wrong with these leaves? This plant must be trying to tell me something, but what? Too much water, too little, too much fertilizer, a deficiency of some sort? I have another plant doing the same as well, but in another area of the garden. Please let me know what I can do for him.

Thanks a bunch, Christina

And here is the other plant....

Angel Trumpet (Brugmansia):

I can see the Angel Trumpet is close to a concrete walkway. That gives off a whole lot of heat so it's possible the yellowing of the leaves is heat related. Concrete walkways, driveways, and brick siding all give off a lot of heat and can cause problems for plants. You could try giving them more water and mulching them real well so they will retain the moisture.
I can't tell by the picture how much sun they get but a little evening shade would probably help too.
