Can someone tell me what creature did this?
This is what happened to my black-eyed susan after I tried ropel and garlic sticks. It looks like someone just cut the leaves off with scissors. Ropel must taste good to someone!
The hardware cloth in the picture was not there last night when this happened but it will be staying a while now. "It" also sheared some leaves off the prarie blazing star next to the black-eyed susan.
"It" also dug up some dirt and destroyed my purple millet grass, and of course sheared off some of the leaves.
Is this a rabbit? This is only my second year gardening and my first serious run-in with rodents and I'm 90 percent sure it's rabbit but I'm still astounded by the damage.
