I didn't even hear it last night but wind must have blown with the rain. It knocked my little sweet corn patch over. The stalks aren't broken. Do you think it will straighten up? I wonder if there was a reason they seemed to be so weak. I'm still about 2-3 weeks away from harvesting the sweet corn.
Sweet corn blew over
Thanks for the suggestions. It does seem to be looking better today - popping back up. I have a small patch. We have several friends who raise at least an acre of sweet corn. Have you ever tried the mail order Omaha Steaks? (I haven't since we raise our own but have heard they are good.)
Jewel, Hang in there gal! Your corn should pop back up. It might take a couple of days, but it should stand back up. Lisa
