I have tiny white scale all over the trunk and branches of my Stewartia...I have sprayed it 3 times with Horticultural oil at the summer rate and they are still there. How do I get rid of these things? TIA Nancy

They are probably dead and just stuck to plant . Watch new growth and see if the scale is making it to new growth . Keep spraying , it kills them and makes it hard for them tu get a hold of plant tissue .
