I've got a little solar powerd fountain between a couple of my mater plants. This morning there were 15 maters (heatwave IIs and supersteaks) in the fountain with 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottoms eaten off of them. There were a few more on the ground with the bottoms eaten out of them to. What do you think had the feast. I'm guessing it might have been a racoon because they wash their food which might account for all the ones in the fountain. I wonder if he was making himself some mater juice for tonight?? LOL Ed
Critter making tomatoe juice. What can it be?
Since they made a mess in the water, sounds like raccoons. They don't have saliva glands, so they wet their food.
Calalily - Thanks. That is what I thought it may have been. I can't think of anything else that would have put that many tomatoes in the water. It didn't do it again last night. Proably had a belly ache from eating too much the night before. LOL Ed
