I received some texas mountain laurel and wanted to know is it a vine? and will it grow in zone 7 and the instruction on the envelope only says scarify seed first what dose this mean ?

Hi Ibjn, when they say to scarify the seed, it means to scratch the seed coat so it can germinate. Some seeds have real hard coats that need help to encourage germination. Hope this helps ya. Bye, Lisa
