Be careful what you put in threads!

mgh, that is a bit dangerous to have if you are burgled or you drop it. If someone uses it you are responible to what they have done no matter what..
You can have the username written but dont write the code/password. I only use a VERY few for all sites and cards a.s.o that way I never have to write them anywhere and no one can get a hold of them unless they are mindreaders
Many companies and site give you a code from the getgo but you can most of the times change that. My son and I have the same code so we never have to write it down if we take each others card to the store to shop something for the other.

Marcia, did you google yourself when you were logged into DG? If you did, you would have gotten a ton of results that you would never see otherwise. Try logging out and then googling your username again and I think you'll be a lot less nervous!

what ecrane3 said is VERY important. If you are logged in on Daves Garden and you google something, you will hit the entire thread.

If you are loggged out, and you do the exact google, it will hit, but it will only be the first entry.

whew! I googled while being logged in and panicked, as I saw an entire discussion, but once I logged out, the google hit only showedthe first few lines of the discussion. In summary if you're not logged in or you are not a member, you are not privy to the goings on here, except if the thread is designated as "open", such as homeschooling, to name a few.

I did make a discovery today. Google has a DG "cached" page that will show up even if you are not signed in. This is an old post in a removed forum and I could not replicate it, but it's just a reminder that stuff can get through. Dave is there anyway you can contact Google and get them to remove this since "cached" is not supposed to be an option. http://64.233.187.104/search?q=cache:RZNNpi7r7pcJ:davesgarden.com/forums/t/372608/+purple+millet+reseed&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=8
