I have used gardening notebooks to jot down things I want to move, grow, order, etc. but they always seem to get lost. What would be really handy is if there were some kind of little board or notebook on a stick that you could write on with a (china marker? Something waterproof?) that you could keep in various areas of the garden and refer to without having to find lost notes...
Ideas? Comments?

Any ideas for an outdoor memo pad?
Sharon,
You could go to office depot or the like and have some pages of cardstock laminated and bound then put it on a dowel to keep it handy in the garden. Tie a dry erase or china marker on with a string so as not to lose it. Haven't tried it but it may work for you.

Thanks, Brenda. Good idea. But the dry erase is watersoluable. I could probably just use a sharpie too...
I've been meaning to order a waterproof journal from this site.

Perhaps your idea about several makes sense, I never know where I leave things and having them all over would help.
Great source! Thank you!
