I posted this on Upper Midwest Living forum, but no one knows, so I'm hoping this went out to others as well.
I received this magazine free by mail. At least this issue covered a whole lot of interesting topics. Including an article entitled "The Power of Purple", which grabbed my attention, since I'm re-working the front beds with purple flowers and foliage. This has been bugging me, and I need your help. On page 37 there is a picture of a plant with light pink flowers and purplish leaves that I can't identify. The caption reads "Purple-hued garden includes vegetables, perennials and herbs." Did any of you receive this magazine too? What the heck is that plant (herb or perennial)? Thanks. ;-)
Backyard Living Magazine Collector's Edition Question
Maybe you should post it on the Identification Forum?
Hi darius! Thanks, I'll try that. ;-)
|I received that magazine too. I can't help with the identification of the plant, but I want to know, what kind of mailing list I ended up on. I didn't order it, it just came.
Me too! Too bad you don't know the plant. Oh well, one of life's little mysteries. LOL
Well defoecat, I got my answer. Thanks to darius' suggestion to go over to ID forum, thank you darius!! It is actually two plants, the flower spikes are some sort of polyganum and the plant foliage is a culinary purple sage. LOL
Thanks Prarie Girl, that had me puzzled also. Wonder if we will get another magazine?
Doubt it, first one's usually free, then you have to pay! LOL
