Thanks Darius. :)
Announcing the Dave's Garden terra cotta coffee mug!
Well then I'm on my way to get one, too!
:-)
Yep - if the new ones are like the old ones, I'd definitely recommend snagging one...or two.
I'm sure I made a big pouty face this morning when I stumbled to the kitchen to pour my first cup of coffee. I quickly realized one of my kids had stopped the dishwasher mid-cycle to take a shower last night and never restarted it. The net result - no clean DG mug for my morning coffee. Had to settle for a Disney mug....sigh.
Well, I have a Browns coffee cup that had better be clean every morning, but since I have 2 of the DG mugs on the way, the Browns mug might get put on the shelf with the others :) One for me, one for DH (he was thrilled LOL
Janis
Oh my...and here I am, only ordering two. Maybe I should submit another order? Or should I allow others to get in on the best deal in the World? (Darn, tough decision!)
And yes, I remember when Trish was embroidering those shirts and I agree, Melody, those HAVE to be collector items! And, agreeing with Trish...Folks, I don't think she has time to do that kind of stuff these days! She sure did a great job on those, though, didn't she! Love it!
Shoe.
I'm only getting 2 right now too Shoe. I did order 1 for mornin_gayle, but she has no computer access right now and wants one. I should have had it shipped straight to her, never even crossed my mind :((
Janis
Just love the way they look... been waiting for them also.. Thanks Dave..
A.
Uh-oh.... I got 5! At least 2 for me, then there were to be 2 for gifts, and then I read about $50 and more free shipping (although I have to ask about that because I think I still got charged) so I ordered 5 of them! Then I can sip my coffee from my DG mug while wearing my DG T-shirt!
Can't wait ~ they look really cool!
They are nice and large, great for lemonade or tea also.
ok then trish can you snag one out of daves drawer-he cant need all 4. 3 is a great number-dale earnhardt raced the 3 car and 3 is a charm they say! oh oh and 3s a crowd-maybe should send me 2- LOL LOL LOL

sannajane, that was a mistake. I refunded the shipping cost back to your credit card. :)
dave
How many are left now?
I'm glad you asked. We have sold exactly 130 mugs, leaving 158 mugs still in the kitty.
I'm hoping to ship out all mugs that have been ordered on Monday. FYI!
dave
Good Good so then by next week-end I could be drinking out of a terra cotta coffee mug. Can't wait.
Thank you Dave!
Sanna
Hmmm....sure would make nice Mother's Day gifts, eh?
Maybe I better get more!
How could I not buy a terra cotta mug, considering my name and all? Looking forward to getting it!
oh this is too cute
Well, I had to get a couple and another shirt.
I mailed in a check Dave. I am assuming that my order is in on your end, even though "the check's in the mail" :)?
:) Kathy
Oh my, I sure hope you dont run out before i can get mine....I have to wait till wednesday to get mine when hubby gets paid....it was a bad couple of weeks for us financially :o(...even put stuff up on ebay to try and help out some...but i will get one next week :o) i love'em

I have placed my order! Thanks, Dave! Krispi
The net result - no clean DG mug for my morning coffee. Had to settle for a Disney mug....sigh.
Terry, I'm so sorry your kitchen faucet is broken! *Snort!* Couldn't resist. I can only laugh because I, too, have opted for a second-choice mug when the one I really want is dirty in the dishwasher. ;)
Dave, any chance embroidered T's could be outsourced? I never got around to ordering ours way back when, and really wish I had!
I know a lady here that embroiders T-shirts. I can check on a price if you'd like :)
We have sold 153 mugs so far.
And an update on the shipping: currently almost ALL orders have been boxed up and will be shipped in the morning!
Dave
Embroidered T-shirts sound great..the two I ordered last year are okay for weekends...but a nice one would be great. How about pre-ordering. Okay, so I promote davesgarden.com at every chance. Sent a graphics customer to plant files to explain to me which type/form of hibiscus she wants created just today.
(Kim: I can't imagine drinking coffee at home without a DG mug, now I have two for KC!) Maybe I need to order an extra for DD!
Gotta have 'em! I just ordered 2.
Also, embroidered "dressier" T Shirts sure sound like something I would order, if we could keep them under $25. I'd have to buy 2 or 3. I have 3 of the regulars, but mostly wear them in the yard, or at the gym.

Hey, now....I *do* know how to handwash dishes!!!! Quite honestly, in my pre-French Roast fog, it didn't occur to me to handwash it ;o)
"We have sold 153 mugs so far."
And most have been boxed up and mailed in then morning!? Wow!
Dave and Trish, you've been very busy! I'd say extremely busy! That's quite a bit of work, i.e., wrapping mugs, boxing/insulating, taping them up, address labeling, printing out postage, handling each box, and then, tomorrow, hauling them off to the post office (where the postmaster/mistress might either smile or grimace as you hand-truck them thru the door!), etc.
You're really doing overtime! I, and I'm sure many other DGers, certainly appreciate all your energy and effort.
Ya'll are the best!
Shoe.
Shoe, you've accurately described what the past few days were like here. :-)
Last night Trish and I went back out to the barn and finished it up. As of now, -ALL- orders received prior to noon yesterday have been boxed up and are going to the post office this afternoon! I'll post a picture of the wall of boxes later.
Dave
Oh shoot, missed the shipment....sigh
That is such fast shipment! We appreciate it, you guys!
Terry, you like French Roast? Well, that explains it. :P I'm a medium roast girl, myself. ;)
sarv48: no big worry - it won't take me a week to ship the next batch. :)
dave
Wow, Dave - so they're more than half gone in a week? Whew! You guys have been busy! And if people catch wind of how fast they're going, you may be almost as busy for another week or two!
But then you'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief (hehehehe, at least until there's enough clamoring to justify ordering another gross or two ;o)
Yep, Kim - my coffee is extra-strong double-ground French Roast. I set up my coffee maker the night before with freshly-ground beans, and all I have to do is punch the button, which I can see without my contacts ;o) I then grab my (clean!) mug out of the dishwasher, hold it in my trembling hands, and tap my foot impatiently until the coffeemaker's carafe is half-full and I can pour a cup of steaming, fog-lifting nectar, then lift it to my lips.
The kids, the husband and the dog all know to not disrupt my fidgety, zombie-esque reverie until that process is complete. After that, I can handle whatever the morning rush brings my way! (*grin*)
I think my DG mug must be in the dishwasher also. However I am a mug fanatic so I have plenty of mugs to choose from. DG is my favorite spring time mug though. Yes I have mugs that I prefer during certain seasons. I told you I was a fanatic. We started grinding our coffee fresh also. We were just doing it on the weekends because it's a little more expensive but since my surgery the Folgers we always used for our day to day coffee just does not taste right.
I don't know if it was us or what but I tend to agree with you Howie with Folgers not tasting as good as it use too. We have since changed to Maxwell House, and I am back to liking coffee. Since I have retired I don't seem to drink as much as I use to. Of course I have changed to decaf, the caffeine type was starting to bother my stomach.
Linda
WHOA!!!
Thank you Trish and dave for the incredible work!
Nice tractor :)
Dea
Thanks - he was trying to hide his bulk behind the wall. :)
Dave and Trish, thank you so much for being willing to give your time and effort to do this for all of us! I never even thought of how much work it would be for you to pack and ship them all. Thank you!!
