I am really new to this forum, and I have been reading and reading. I am interested in identifying a bug that is all over my 7 acre yard. It gets under pots, in beds. They are wingless brown bugs with "pincher things" on their tales. I wish I had a picture I could show you. They are a pretty good size. Much larger that an ant. They have an ant looking head, but a different body. They travel in numbers, and like to crowd together. They ate my begonias last year. I need to get a handle on these things earlier this year.
Can someone help me with this bug?
Most likely your are talking about earwigs (Dermaptera)

That is exactly what they are! Thank you so much for helping me to identify them. Now, what do I do about them. They truly are everywhere. Everytime I pick up a pot, or dig a whole, I tend to find them.
